Overview

The Recruiterbolt Contact Information component helps surface enriched contact insights (experience, education, verified contact data) right in Salesforce’s Contact Record Page.
It is available via the Recruiterbolt: Jobs & Company Data Enrichment listing on the Salesforce AppExchange. appexchange.salesforce.com

1. Prerequisites

  • You must have System Administrator permissions (or equivalent).

  • The Recruiterbolt managed package must be installed in your Salesforce org (via AppExchange).

  • Ensure you are using Lightning Experience (not Classic).

2. Install the Package / Confirm Installation

  1. From the AppExchange, locate Recruiterbolt: Jobs & Company Data Enrichment and install it in your org. appexchange.salesforce.com

  2. After installation, go to Setup → Installed Packages and confirm Recruiterbolt is present and active.

3. Assign Permission Sets to Users

This is a critical step — without proper permissions, the component won’t work for users.

  1. Go to Setup → Permission Sets → find the Recruiterbolt permission set(s).

  2. Click Manage Assignments → Add Assignments.

  3. Select the users (or profiles) who should have access, then Save.

You can follow this video walkthrough for guidance on permission set assignment:

(Note: The video is part of a playlist; this is the first in that series.)

Make sure that any custom object, fields, API access, and Apex classes needed by the component are included in the permission set.

4. Add the Recruiterbolt Component to the Contact Page

  1. Navigate to Sales → Contacts → (a contact record).

  2. Click the ⚙️ Setup icon → Edit Page.

  3. In the Lightning App Builder, search the Components panel for Recruiterbolt.

  4. Drag Recruiterbolt Contact Information into your desired sidebar or region (commonly the right sidebar).

  5. Adjust size/position as needed.

  6. Click Save, then Activation → choose whether to make it the default for org, app, or record type.

5. Verification & Usage

  • Return to a Contact Record.

  • The Recruiterbolt Contact Insights panel should now appear (e.g. on the right).

  • Use Refresh inside that panel to call the enrichment service; use Update (if configured) to push data back to Salesforce fields.

  • Confirm that the current user sees the panel and that data loads correctly (permissions are correct).
