What It Does: The new permission set gives Standard User access to process the events created in the Salesbolt Events tab. Standard Users don’t have permission to process the events and this new permission set enables the user to process the events.


How to implement: 


1. Navigate to Setup

2. In the Quick Find box, type Permission Sets and click on it.

3. Click on the New button

4. Enter a value in Label and API Name for the permission set (e.g., "Salesbolt Custom Notification Permission") and click Save.

5. A new permission set will be created and visible in the list.

6. Click on the permission name and navigate to System Permissions.


7. Click the Edit button and the permissions will open in edit mode

8. Select the checkbox for Send Custom Notifications and click on Save


9. Click on the Save button on the Permissions Changes Confirmation dialogue box. 

10. Permission Set is created and assigned this permission set to Standard User.


Assign Salesbolt Admin Permission Set to Standard Users:


What It Does: Standard (Non-Admin) users by default, will not have access to Salesbolt Custom objects and Salesbolt Admin permission enables Read/Edit for all Fields in the Salesbolt Package.


How to implement: 


1. Navigate to Setup

2. In the Quick Find box, type Users and click on Standard User.



3. Click on the Permissions Set Assignments tab and Edit Assignments button


4. Select Salesbolt Admin permission and move it to the Enabled Permissions Set box and click on Save


5. Verify the Salesbolt Admin permission is assigned to the Standard User





Add Process Events Button to List View Layout:


What It Does: The Process Events button is used to process the events in the Salesbolt Events tab. This button executes the flows for events in the background.


How to implement: 


1. Navigate to Setup

2. Click on Object Manager and all the objects will be displayed

3. Click on the Salesbolt Event object link.


4. Go to List View Buttons Layout add the Process Events button to the Salesbolt Event

list view layout and click on Edit


5. Select the Process Events button move it to the Selected Buttons window and click Save


6. Click on Buttons, Links, and Actions and verify the Process Events button is visible



7. Navigate to ISV application and the Process Events button will be visible in the Salesbolt Events tab 









Update Status Field in Salesbolt Event Object:


What It Does: When the events are processed through the Process Events button, the status of the event is updated to Processed. To handle the status of events after processing this new status is introduced for events.




How to implement: 


1. Navigate to Setup

2. Click on Object Manager and all the objects will be displayed

3. Click on the Salesbolt Event object link.

4. Go to Fields & Relationships and click on the Status field



5. Navigate to Values click on the New button enter value as Processed and click on Save


6. The new picklist value Processed will be added to the picklist of Status



Add Enrich Component to Objects:

What It Does: These components are custom components which show the details of the salesbolt field after enriching the records. Component on Account shows all the linked records with their enriched details. The component on Contact / Lead shows all the details for individual records.


How to implement: 


1. Navigate to the Accounts tab in SF Application and open an Account

2. Click on the Setup Icon and Edit Page option


3. Drag the Custom Component in page layout and click on Save



4. The Enrich Component will be visible on the Accounts tab


5. For adding a component on Contact, go to the Setup and Edit Page option of contact record and drag the component on the page layout and save it.



6. Component on the Contact object



7. For adding a component on Lead, go to the Setup and Edit Page option of Lead record and drag the component on the page layout and save it.




8. Component on Lead object



Add Role History tab for Contact Object


What It Does: The Role History tab shows a list of all the events created for the Contact. 


How to implement: 


1. Navigate to Setup

2. Click on Object Manager and all the objects will be displayed

3. Click on the Contact object link.

4. Go to Page Layout and click on Contact Layout 


5. Go to Related Lists in the menu select Role History and drag it into Related List



6. Click on Save and the Role History will be displayed in the Related Lists.

7. Open any Contact record and verify the Role History is visible for the records.
